Level 2 Course
The F.I.I. Level 2 Freediving Course is known as the game changer. It builds on top of the foundation taught in the Level 1 Freediving course. This class teaches you how to effectively train the human body to reach depths of up to 40m/132ft. One of the biggest take aways from this course is how to properly train in the off season, even if you don't have the depths to do so.
The information provided in this course will help clear up many of the myths about the average
persons diving ability and experience the full aquatic ability. This course covers many of the challenges of deeper diving as well as how to evaluate your dives correctly for progression and to prevent injury. This class is a must have for all freedivers & spearfishers looking to take their diving to the next level!
In this jam packed freediving course, you will learn to hold your breath longer than you ever thought possible, train for deeper dives even if you don't have access to depth, and learn to evaluate your dives to continue progression. This course is also perfect for anyone interested in becoming a freediving instructor.

Are You Ready For Level 2?

"Am I ready for Level 2 or should I wait until I can train a lot more first?" We get asked this question all the time. It seems that most people look at courses as if they're just tests or exams. The thing to remember that this is a class. The goal of a class is to learn, not to pass a test. To help put your mind at ease, FII allows you up to a year to finish your course with any FII instructor depending on space availability. Reach out to the instructor to try to finish.

If you have a level 1 certification and feel like you have all of the level 1 skills understood, then you are ready for Level 2. It is the only pre-requisite. As a matter of fact, it seems most people wait way too long to take their next course. More often than not, we hear students saying things along the lines of "I wish I would have done this a few years ago!" If you are still in doubt, please reach out to discuss any concerns you may have!
